The Kentucky Wildcats blew out the Vanderbilt Commodores in Nashville to snap the losing streak. This was a game where Kentucky gained some confidence on both ends of the floor. Players like Jordan Burks and Justin Edwards both played well, so it was great to see Kentucky get some production from places they hadn't been. Rob Dillingham and Antonio Reeves continued to play great, as they combined for 44 points in the win.
Now, the Wildcats will host the Gonzaga Bulldogs for the second game of the series. Gonzaga got the best of Kentucky last season, so the Wildcats will look to take down Gonzaga and avenge last year's embarrassing 88-72 loss. The Bulldogs have some solid players down low so Kentucky's big men will need to play well for the Wildcats to get the win in Rupp Arena. As it sits right now, this would be a Quad 2 win, but Gonzaga would only need to move up one spot for it to be a Quad 1 victory.
